Islamic JHS Al Azhar 6 Jakapermai is the first Islamic junior high school in Bekasi under the Yayasan Pesantren Islam Al-Azhar (YPI Al-Azhar). Located at Jl. Cendana II No. 84, Jakapermai, the school was established in the 1992–1993 academic year through a collaboration between Yayasan Wakaf Al Muhajirien Jakapermai and YPI Al-Azhar Jakarta. As part of the nationwide Al-Azhar education network, the school integrates IMTAQ and science-based education through the National Curriculum enriched with Islamic Studies, Al-Qur’an, and Arabic lessons. Supported by complete learning facilities, Islamic JHS Al Azhar 6 Jakapermai remains committed to developing academic excellence, strong character, and student achievement to prepare future generations for global challenges.
